Family planning for all couples
Who we love, does not define our families, or limit our possibilities. In this era, anything is possible. Planning for conception for both sexes can be done up to 12 months in advance, for optimal outcomes.
Planning for your first child together is one of life's greatest joys, excitements and milestones. There is no family alike, each are unique. I work with all couples of any gender to help to fulfil their dream of creating a healthy family.

Preparing for a baby is about more than conception. It’s about nurturing the health of the individuals bringing that new life into the world.
I take a personalised, whole-body approach to fertility and preconception care, supporting individuals and couples as they prepare for parenthood. Whether you’re a heterosexual or same-sex couple, an individual planning to conceive using donor sperm or eggs, or navigating fertility challenges together, your journey and your family are welcome here.
I work with people trying to conceive naturally, those using donor conception, and individuals and couples undertaking assisted reproductive treatment, including Assisted reproductive technology (ART) or IVF. Wherever possible, I encourage both partners to be involved in the process, particularly when conceiving naturally, so we can consider the health of both people, address relevant factors affecting fertility and create a shared approach to preparation. Individual consultations are also available to meet your circumstances and needs.
Preparing for conception, nurturing new life
Ideally, I recommend allowing 3–6 months for preconception preparation, giving us time to explore the factors that may influence reproductive health and pregnancy. This may include nutritional status, hormonal health, sperm quality, menstrual and ovulatory function, gut health, stress, sleep, lifestyle and relevant environmental exposures.
Preconception is an opportunity to identify potential areas for improvement, address nutritional deficiencies and build healthy foundations before pregnancy begins. Supporting the health of both genetic parents, where applicable, may also help optimise reproductive health and support the early development of your baby. While no approach can guarantee conception or a particular pregnancy outcome, thoughtful preparation can be a valuable part of the journey.
Continuity of care, beyond conception
My support doesn't have to end with a positive pregnancy test. I offer continuity of care across the wider journey to parenthood, from preconception and fertility support through pregnancy and into the postpartum period.
As your needs evolve, we can adapt your care to support maternal wellbeing, nutritional needs, pregnancy health, preparation for birth and recovery after delivery. Where appropriate, I can also support the transition into early parenthood, including nutritional replenishment and wellbeing during the postpartum period.
Whether you are just beginning to explore conception, preparing for fertility treatment, or finding your way through a more complex fertility journey, my aim is to provide thoughtful, individualised support that helps you feel informed, connected to your body and empowered in your choices.
Every path to parenthood is different. Your care should reflect that.
